This one of my all time favorites. Only a hint of Aurora favors this photo, the cloud taking center stage as it appears as though the curtain has dropped to reveal the heavens. Making an appearance is a glimmer of our own galaxy, the Milky Way, as well as our closest neighbour, the Andromeda galaxy (at 2.5 million light years away, it is seen as a splotchy star, but it is there).
