This Peruvian offering is Certified Organic and grown under the canopy of the native Amazonas rain forest. The Juan Marco El Palto cooperative assists small family farms in growing high quality coffee, bringing those coffees to market and practicing environmental sustainability to ensure future generations have the tools and resources to carry on production at the family farms. The farm sizes are small within the cooperative and families assist their neighbours to ensure a successful harvest for those in the region.
The Peru El Palto is aromatic and flavourful with a balanced acidity and medium body that is buttery smooth. The sweetness in the cup comes through with an essence of fig and almond to create an approachable and well rounded cup.
